Course Outline

This course provides you with the competencies to effectively implement strategies relating to Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) and Collaborative Decision Making (CDM). You will be able to apply practical knowledge of ATFM using the latest ATFM simulation technology to enhance ATFM capabilities in your organisation, as well as key stakeholders’ management for CDM implementation. This course is developed in accordance with ICAO documents.

Mr Stuard Ratcliffe is an experienced operational specialist in ATM, ATFM and CDM with international experience as project lead or subject matter expert in the implementation or assessments of ATFM/CDM in the USA, Africa, Asia Pacific, Australia, Middle East, China, Russia and Latin America. He served on the ICAO DOC9971 (CDM/ATFM Manual) review panel. Mr Ratcliffe has completed a Senior Management Program at the University of Stellenbosch Graduate School of Business and practiced as an ATC for 25 years.
