15th CAAS - AFCAC Onsite: Customised State Safety Programme Implementation course

A record turn-out of 17 AFCAC Member States participated in the 15th CAAS-AFCAC on-site training programme held in Banjul, The Gambia from 19 to 23 November 2018. The 5-day Customised State Safety Programme was opened with remarks by Mr Abdoulie Jammeh, DG of Gambia, Ms Chan Pin Pin, Deputy Director (Marketing and Corporate Services), SAA and Ms Raky Mbacke, on behalf of AFCAC. The course closing was graced by Mr Bai Lamin Jobe, Honourable Minister of Transport from the Gambia.

The 47 participants included the DG and DDG of Gambia as well as aviation professionals from Cabo Verde, Central African Republic, Comoros, Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Kenya, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo and Uganda. Participants found the course relevant and useful and some of the feedback include:
