SAA Aviation Insight Series on Effects of State Corruptions on Efficiency Performance of Airports Operations and Management
A total of 39 professionals from the airline and aviation industry attended the SAA Aviation Insight Series on Effects of State Corruptions on Efficiency Performance of Airports Operations and Management on 19 Jun 2014. Sharing the session with us was Dr Tae Hoon Oum, UPS Foundation Chair Professor, Sauder School of Business University of British Columbia, Canada and The Air Transport Research Society.
Dr Tae shared on the understanding of effects of state corruptions on the efficiency of public infrastructure management, particularly in the airport operations and management. He also presented on the need to re-examine workability of the increasingly popular public/private partnership (PPP) programme and the disadvantages of using PPP programme while targeting to attract minority private sector investment partners. Dr Michael Lim, Director, Singapore Aviation Academy moderated the question and answer session after the talk.
