Course Outline

This course seeks to enable you to be a more effective Watch Manager (WM) in an Air Traffic Control (ATC) operational environment. You will gain the supervisory competencies to contribute to a safer and more efficient ATC environment. This course is a competency-based training that will provide you with the skillsets, knowledge and techniques to effectively perform supervisory role in an ATC environment in accordance with international best practices.

Mr Patrick Coyle is the Senior ATC Instructor with experience in developing and delivering ATC training courses for both ab-initio and experience controllers. He has over 15 years instructing experience and is currently Airways New Zealand lead for the provision of On-The-Job Instructor and Watch Manager Training courses.
