Course Outline

This course provides you with the competencies to manage an Air Traffic Control (ATC) unit(s) as a Watch Manager (WM) in an ATC operational environment. You will gain knowledge, skillsets and techniques to effectively perform in a supervisory role to contribute to a safer and more efficient ATC environment, in accordance with international best practices.

Key Instructor(s)

Mr Patrick Coyle is the Senior ATC Instructor with experience in developing and delivering ATC training courses for both ab-initio and experience controllers. He has over 15 years instructing experience and is currently Airways New Zealand lead for the provision of On-The-Job Instructor and Watch Manager Training courses.
